Print vs digital

The soaring costs of printing, combined with the soaring costs of creators, factored in with the plummeting sales of comics and graphic novels...the writing's on the wall.

Anyone still selling new 8-track tapes or films on VHS?

I predict that paper will be so outmoded in a few short years, that even cursive handwriting will no longer be taught in school, as children will mostly type (rather than write), and one's "signature" may become a thumbprint (or an implanted computer chip---yes, you know where I'm going with that).

Should Christian comics go into apologetics?

We're both on the same page, Alec. For this, anyway. :)

Sadly, I think too often Christian fiction can't seem to decide for itself . . . am I a story or a sermon?

But a "sermon" comic, that was fully intended to be just that, would in the hands of a talented person, be pretty cool.

Note, though . . . in the hands of a talented person. I think it could also be pretty awful, because the challenge would be even greater than just a story.

Steven Hawking Denies God

[quote:3f45ae637c]In June this year Prof Hawking told a Channel 4 series that he didn't believe that a "personal" God existed. He told Genius of Britain: "The question is: is the way the universe began chosen by God for reasons we can't understand, or was it determined by a law of science? I believe the second. If you like, you can call the laws of science 'God', but it wouldn't be a personal God that you could meet, and ask questions." [/quote:3f45ae637c]

Sounds like it to me :/

Glenn Beck 8/28 Speech

I am wary. If Beck is indeed changing his tone and tactics, wonderful. The more he speaks in this manner the better. But he was a lot of baggage trailing behind him.

30"x40" Cryptozoica Cover Print seeking LTR

I have a signed 30" x 40" print of the illustration I did for the cover to Mark Ellis' new "Cryptozoica" novel. It needs a home.
It is an inkjet print on a nice shiny archival paper. I am asking $80 for it, so if anybody is interested just send me a PM and we'll go from there.

If want to see what the "Cryptozoica" cover looks like, then click here on this link;

Thank you and have a great day.
